Upcoming Dharma Centre Schedule

A MEDITATIVE APPROACH TO STRESS, ANXIETY, DEPRESSION & PAIN will happen at the Dharma Centre on the evenings of Dec 8, 9, 10 & 11, staring at 7:00PM. The program will be of interest to sufferers of these afflictions, their friends and families, as well as physicians, therapists and care-givers.

Presentation will last approx 90min each evening with an opportunity following to ask questions. The talks are geared toward a secular audience. The language will be straightforward, and the approach practical and non-religious. The main idea is to provide participants with some understanding about how humans get into unpleasant, negative, painful, and unproductive states of mind and to offer some useful meditative remedies. The suggestions are not meant to supplant or replace medical or psychological treatments that participants might already be involved in. They are meant to augment or support positivity and calm. Admission by donation. Please call the Doug at 282-7669 for more information.
